I-SEAMORE Final Demonstration and Event to highlight innovation and collaboration in Maritime Surveillance
The I-SEAMORE project will host its Final Demo and Event on 16 and 17 of September 2025 in 📍 Troia, Portugal, marking the conclusion of three years of research, development, and cross-sector collaboration in support of more integrated and intelligent maritime surveillance.
Designed to improve situational awareness and support border management authorities, the I-SEAMORE platform integrates multiple technologies into a scalable and modular solution. The Final Event will provide a platform for demonstrating these results and enabling dialogue among stakeholders from across the security, maritime, policy, and innovation domains.
What to expect?
The event will begin on the 16 of September with a live demonstration of the I-SEAMORE platform in an operational environment, at the CEOM (Centro de Experimentação Operacional da Marinha) in Rua dos Fuzileiros, 7570-791, Tróia, Portugal, offering participants a first-hand look at its technical capabilities.
On the 17 of September, a full-day conference will bring together technical partners, external experts, and end-users. Highlights will include a keynote intervention from a representative of FRONTEX, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, a dedicated stakeholder feedback session led under the project’s participatory monitoring and evaluation framework, and a focused session on access-to-market strategies for I-SEAMORE technologies, including direct exchanges between technology providers and potential end-users.
The event will also feature presentations by project partners, thematic discussions on maritime surveillance innovation, and opportunities to reflect on the future of European cooperation in maritime security.
