The I-SEAMORE project marked its presence at the Security Research Event (SRE) 2025, a crucial forum for European civil security, held in Warsaw on June 24th and 25th. This flagship event, organized by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME), convened over a thousand policymakers, security practitioners, researchers, industry professionals, and civil society representatives to address evolving security threats and explore how EU research and innovation can provide solutions.

Under the theme of “Boosting security through EU-based innovation,” the 2025 edition of the SRE provided a vital platform for discussions. Five thematic panels delved into various aspects of security challenges and innovative responses.
I-SEAMORE was a prominent exhibitor throughout the two-day conference. Project partners Wolfgang Kniejski, from INI-Novation, and Laura Cyrne, from F6S Innovation, showcased the project’s innovative solutions at their dedicated booth. They engaged extensively with a diverse audience, presenting I-SEAMORE’s innovative platform designed to host and manage advanced assets, services, and systems. The lively discussions at the booth underscored the project’s relevance in addressing contemporary security and border management challenges within the EU.
I-SEAMORE’s participation at SRE 2025 reaffirmed its dedication to contributing to a more secure and resilient Europe. The event proved to be an essential opportunity for knowledge exchange, fostering collaborations, and accelerating the adoption of groundbreaking security innovations.
